Penny Black Cake and Wishes!

Happy Monday everyone! It's Rosie here today to share the details on the card I made for the current ANYTHING GOES Challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog! Just remember to qualify for the Top 3 and Gift Certificate drawing, you must use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store. The challenge ends on MARCH 8th, 12:00pm MST.

I used this adorable stamp from a set called Penny Black Cake and Wishes. This set is so versatile, not only for birthdays, but any celebration including Christmas. I stamped the little girl on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with Copics.

Copics:
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E01, E11
Hair: E42, E47, E49
Pink: R81, R83, R85, R39
White: N0, N2, Colorless Blender
Present: Paper-Pieced
The awesome sentiment is from Mama Elephant Make A Wish Clear Stamp Set. One of my favorite inks to use for sentiments is Versafine Onyx Black Ink. It provides amazing coverage and you get that fine detail with sentiments that have thin lines. It's AWESOME! I cut the sentiment out using a circle die, then framed it with the Memory Box Pinpoint Scalloped Circle Open Studio Die. Those cute decorative papers are from Doodlebug Design Hello Sunshine 6x6 Paper Pad.

Supplies from 7 Kids College Fund Store:
Scor-Tape

C.C. Designs - Pollycraft Grant

Hello everyone! Happy Weekend! Here's my current project share for the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes".  Make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify.

I decided to make a March Birthday card and combine it with a St. Patrick's Day theme. The background was made using Lawn Fawn - My Lucky Charm stamp set. I stamped the four leaf clovers, small and large, multiple times. The birthday boy image is from C.C. Designs - Pollycraft Grant. All images are colored with Copic Markers. I highlighted certain areas on Grant with the Wink of Stella Clear pen. I also added some patterns with a white gel pen. Lastly, the sentiment "you're my lucky charm" is from the Lawn Fawn set.

Stamping Bella - Honeybear Stuffies

Hello, happy crafters!  Today is the start of a brand new  7 Kids College Fund  Challenge blog and the theme is 'Anything Goes'.  You can enter your cards or projects to the challenge for a chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate! The only requirement to win is you have to use an image or supplies the store sells!

Who didn't love Whiney the Pooh when they were growing up? My bow covers up the signature of the sentiment, it's one of Whiny Pooh's phrases "A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey left inside." How true is that?  These two cuddly bears are adorable!

The latest C.C. Designs stamps are now available.

I just added some COLORING BOOKS!

A NOTE ABOUT COLORING BOOKS: Coloring books, like stamps are the work of dedicated artists using their skills to make a living while providing fun and enjoyment for colorers everywhere. Unfortunately, there are many sites such as Pinterest and Facebook where people are sharing copyrighted work without permission. I realize lots of people don't even know that the pages they may be downloading are not really free for their use. Please consider this when looking for images  and pages to color. If you want to make sure you are not stealing images, the best way to do that is to just purchase the stamp, digital image, page or book. This way you are ENSURING that the artist who created the amazing image you want to color get his or her due credit and can continue to make a living creating more images and pages in the future!

The newest Wild Rose Studio stamps are also available! They are super cute and perfect for spring and Easter projects.

UPCOMING NEWNESS:
  • Whimsy Stamps
  • Newton's Nook
  • Darcie's Heart & Home
  • Holster products
  • Crafting Gloves (great for arthritis)
