Hello! Are you getting ready for the holidays? Me - sorta, I can't believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow. The Turkey is bought and thawing and tomorrow starts the baking. We don't make a big fuss over dinner and instead play with the kids, watch movies together - it's all about spending time with the family:)

Today, I am sharing a card I made several years ago. I was on vacation for 3 weeks and got a little bit behind.

Snowflake Shaker Card

Happy Monday everyone! It's Rosie here to share the details on the shaker card I made for the current ANYTHING GOES challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog!

Just remember to qualify for the Top 3 and Gift Certificate drawing, you must use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store. The challenge ends on DECEMBER 1st, 12:00pm MST.

I branched out and decided to do something different.....surprising, I know, haha! I made a shaker card....say what?!! Yup!! I haven't made one of these in a very long time, but I love how it turned out!!

The sentiment is from Mama Elephants Jingle Greetings Clear Stamp Set. See that gorgeous die around the sentiment? It's the new Memory Box Stitched Snowflake Circle Frame Die....LOVE IT!!! I seriously love how this card turned out!

For extra dimension I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die to cut out the center of my snowflake paper from Penny Black and raised that panel on foam. The white silk ribbon was in my stash.

Check This Out!

Happy Sunday everyone!!!  Rachel here with you today, and I wanted to share the details on my current challenge project!

I have used one of the adorable winter images from CC Designs-

Can you believe how adorable he is!!??
(he had a bird on his little carrot nose!)

I used this kraft colored box to adhere my paper and image to.
I cut out a cardstock base out of red,
and then cut my Doodlebug patterned paper
with a stitched square die from Lawn Fawn.
Next I used some pieces from one of my Blueprints
sets from MFT, and attached the sentiment to the box.
He needed a little bling, so a broke out the sequins.
(ribbon and sentiment are from my stash)

And there you have it!!

Here's a full list of supplies from the 7 Kids Shop-

I hope this gives you some crafty inspiration to finish up those Christmas projects!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Avery Elle - Penguin Greetings

Hello everyone! Here's my project for the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes" with an "Optional Twist - Give Thanks".  Make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify

Loved making this card. The adorable penguins are from Avery Elle - Penguin Greetings, but I wonder why the Daddy P is the only one that has clothes? Maybe that's why Mama P is strategically placing Baby P in front of her? LOL Who knows. The coloring is kept simple. The sentiment "Special Delivery" and the candy cane stripes are from Avery Elle - Naughty or Nice. To fill up the space up top, I used the Mama Elephant - Speech Trio die as a base for the sentiment. Lastly, glued on some green sequins, added some faux stitching and a strip of black cs to finish the card.

  Copics
Penguins: C1/C3/YR04/R20
Sweater: G03/G17/R27

Roberto's Rascals - Fairy Twila

Happy Saturday! Jo for you today. There's still time to join the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes".  Make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify

I played around with masking images and this is what I came up with. I used the Mama Elephant - Charmed stamp set and C.C. Designs - Roberto's Rascals Fairy Twila. These two were made for each other! The images are colored with Copic Markers and Star Dust Stickles added some shimmer/glitter to her wings and banner. The bottom layer of the layout is red glitter cardstock and then the image base is popped up on dimensional adhesive. Lastly, added some twine and glitter enamel dots. Using the color combo of red, turned this into a holiday card.

Dress: R22/R27/R39/G03/G17
Wings/Banner: B0000/B00

These sets are great for those of you who are intimidated by coloring. :)

I used the Polaroid die from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant Friend Indeed Clear Stamp Set. The word die FRIEND is also from Mama Elephant. And the cute yellow, floral dp is from Penny Black.
