Hello everyone!  It's Anita here today to share the card I made for our challenge this week over on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog

Our challenge is "anything goes" and it's open for two weeks so there's plenty of time for you to join in.  You can find all the challenge details over on our 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.

Couture by Graphic 45

It is Tuesday...guess what that means??? It is my turn to host this site!
I decided to share a tag that I made using the GORGEOUS Graphic 45 papers called Couture!

First, I stained my manilla tag with some Barn Door and Tumbled Glass Distress inks. I then inked the edges with some Black Soot and Tea Dye Distress inks. If you look real close, you can see where I also added some Gold Embossing Enamel fran-tage. Finally, I rubbed the edges of the tag with Viva Inka-Gold.
I used my beautiful paper from my Couture (Graphic45) 12X12 pad.
I fussy cut one of the ladies and framed her with a chipboard frame from this collection.  I added this fabulous red tulle flower which I backed with some black tulle. I felt this gave it some vintage appeal.
Then I added 2 more aqua flowers to give it a pop of color! Added some leaves and sequin centers!
Hope you like or are inspired by my "roarin 20's" theme tag!
I sure had fun making it!

It's time for another Anything Goes Challenge at 7Kids College Fund starting tomorrow!
Please join in our fun and show us your stuff!
You may be chosen as one of the Top Three or  if you use an image from the 7Kids College Fund Store, you will be eligible to win a gift certificate to the 7Kids Store! WOWSA!!

Happy Spring

Happy Spring and Happy Friday!!!!  I am sharing another card I made with this great stamp by Crafty individuals
This time instead of using the whole stamp, I just used the nest part. I like  see how many different ways I can use one stamp and this stamp is great for that.  So don't be surprised if you see me using it again in a completely different way. LOL

If you missed out on my last card you can check it out on our challenge blog.  Or you can always go to my blog for more information.
I hope you enjoy the weekend and hopefully some spring weather :)
Happy card making

Stenciling with Memory Box!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It's Karen here to share a new card with you showcasing some new and older Memory Box goodies.

One of the surprises from January's CHA was Memory Box releasing stencils. I was ecstatic! Although I had never used one, I admired the beauty they create and their endless opportunities for color and layering. Since I love Memory Box, I chose one of their new releases to dabble into the world of stenciling. :o)

One of the many wonderful options is this gorgeous Birch Trees Stencil:
I confess I was a wee bit nervous when I began! That all proved silly, as in only a few minutes I had a beautiful twilight background surrounding the birch trees. I taped down the corners to prevent movement and was delighted with my baby step into stenciling. Three shades of Tim Holtz distress inks where used for my sky, beginning with the lightest: Broken China, Tumbled Glass, and Faded Jeans.
The stencils are fantastic in quality and design, providing a blank canvas with which to decorate. Many designs can even stand on their own. For this project, I created a little winter scene. The biggest (and layered) snowflake in the right corner is from the Memory Box Precious Snowflakes set. The sweet Deer Trio is also from Memory Box, which I popped up with foam tape for dimension. Star Dust accents the snowflakes and snowy landscape.

A week remains in our current challenge at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, so I hope you'll join the fun! We look forward to seeing your creations. :o) Have a blessed day!

Four Little Songbirds

Hello! Hope you are having a Terrific Tuesday!!!  Welcome to the 7Kids Store blog!
Just wanted to share a birthday card that I made for a good friend!

First I inked white card stock with Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade Distress inks for my flowers and my background panel.  I cut out a 3 3/4 X 3 3/4 square and then stamped the background panel with my new Crafty Individuals Four Little Songbirds Stamp set. I just LOVE these little birds! I think the stamp really looks good for the background.

Thanks for stopping by!

New Prima Dolls!!!

This is really awesome! Instead of making us wait months for new Mixed Media Dolls, Prima and Julie Nutting are releasing more! There are five new single doll stamps and 3 new sets available for preorder and shipping in mid May.

Previous Prima preorder straggler Betty is expected to arrive in mid April. And, the new dies have also had a date push to mid-April, as well, most likely due to manufacturing delays.

There's Snowman Like You!

Happy Monday everyone and St. Paddy's Day!! Do you have your green on? :) It's Rosie here to share the details on the card I made for the current challenge over on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog. Just be sure to use a stamp or dies sold in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to be eligible for the prize and top 3!!

On my card I used some awesome dies from My Favorite Things Die-Namics. This amazing snowman, or actually snowgirl, was made completely from dies that are part of the Snow Globe Die Set.
