I used some beautiful decorative papers from Echo Park Jack and Jill Girl 6x6 Paper Pad. The white scallop border at the top of my card was made using Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Border Dies. The circles were cut out using By DIEzyne Dies Double Circles and Stitched Circles. The ribbon and pearls were from my stash.

Crafty Indiviuals - Build A Meadow

Happy Weekend! Jo here for you this Saturday. Before we start, don't forget that there's still time to join the current challenge up at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes".

For today's card, the main image I used is from Crafty Individuals - Build A Meadow Unmounted Rubber Stamp. I used the whole sheet as the background. You could cut the rubber of each indiviual flower but I chose to keep it whole. The stamp is unmounted, so you need to adhere some cling mount or use it by itself, which I did, and laid my paper on top of the inked image.

The sentiment is Mama Elephant - Everyday Greetings. I used two dies from By DIEzyne Dies - Pierced Tickets and Stitched Flags Two. Lastly, I added a pop of color with my pink flower embellishment and some wood flatback pearls.

Come play with us over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the beautiful weekend!

Sugar Pea - Spare Me

There is still a week left to play in the  7 Kids College Fund  challenge!  So come on over and join the fun!

I think we all have had those times, where we might have said or did something we wished we didn't say or do.  We really want to apologize and search for the words to say were sorry.  Well, this cutie stamp set from Sugar Pea puts a little bit of humor into it for us!  I love it! Saying your sorry, but trying to make them smile at the same time. The card that inspire me was created by Mary from Sugar Pea Designs design team - her blog - : http://maryjdesigns.blogspot.co.uk.  I just love this image with this sentiment and had to recreate it myself! There are several other sentiments in the stamp set - Let the good times roll, Your right up my ally, Strike up some fun, Your a great roll model, and more! You could even put "I forgot your birthday, sorry for being such a pin head!  Perfect!

After I cut out the pins, I coated them with Versamark Ink Pad and embossed with Clear Super Fine Embossing Powder from Ranger, which gave them a sturdiness to stand on the lane.

Copic Markers

Don't forget to come play at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge!

The theme is "Anything Goes"

Happy Sunday!!  Hope everyone is having a fantastic Father's Day!!  Rachel here to share the details with you on my current challenge card!

Lawn Fawn - Stuck On You

Hello everyone, Jo here! A new challenge starts at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, "Anything Goes", BUT make sure you use a STAMP/IMAGE carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store in order to qualify.

Today's card features this cute stamp set of succulents from Lawn Fawn - Stuck On You. I also use the coordinating Lawn Cuts dies. The base of my card is corrugated cardboard. The white cs was cut by By DIEzyne Dies - Stitched Strips. The green cs was cut by Mama Elephant - Landscape Trio Creative Cuts, and I finished off the edges with By DIEzyne Dies - Big Stitched/Pierced Rectangles.

The inks I used were the pigment inks from Mama Elephant. The sentiment "i'm stuck on you" comes in a straight line, but I wanted it stacked so I ended up trimming each word and stamping it individually. Don't worry, I'm still able to arrange them in a straight line if I choose to on a future project. Lastly, I added some purple twine as my "ribbon" on the card.

Oh, also if you guys want to leave any suggestions on how to take care of real succulent plants, that would be greatly appreciated. I have a mini planter box on my desk and they seem to be not doing too well LOL. Green thumb, do not I have.

Come play with us over at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week!

Crafty Individuals - Feathered Friends

Happy Wednesday! We would like to invite you to join our bi-weekly 7 Kids College Fund Challenge! Come see all the designers awesome creations and enter one of your own to win a $20.00 gift certificate. There is a catch though - you must use an image or stamp that is sold at 7 Kids College Fund Store. There are so many stamp companies including Stampendous, C.C.Design, LaLaLand to name just a few.

Today, I choose to use Crafty Individuals - Feather Friend to color and create a card which was fun and easy to create. I dab the middle of the flowers with Stickles to add some sparkle!

Die Cuts - Memory Box
Copic Markers

I would also like to brag about one of my new paper cutter from 7 Kids! I purchased the Cutterpillar Pro ABS several months ago and love, love this cutter. It cuts the paper so smoothly - you never have jagged or rough edges no matter how fine of the cut. The back lighting allows you to see exactly where you have the paper lined up to trim, which is another plus! You don't have to worry about the blade going dull - "The CutterPillar's two-blade mechanism allows the rotary blade to pass against the stationary blade at the edge of the cutting surface, much like a pair of scissors.  This helps keep the blades sharp.  In fact, we have found that our cuts actually become cleaner and more precise the more we use our CutterPillars."
I would definitely buy it again!

WPlus9 Design in the store now!

I'm excited to be adding WPlus9 Designs to the store! I have added the latest release and some newer stamps and dies to the store for preorder. If there are other designs you would like to purchase, please let me know

Spring Flower Garden by Crafty Individuals

Happy Tuesday my stampy friends!!!
I am popping in with my card that I am sharing today as the hostess at the 7KIDS Store Blog !

I began this card by stamping the Spring Flowers by Crafty Individuals stamp in Gray Flannel (Tuxedo Memento) Ink onto Copic X-press It Blending white paper. Crafty Individuals have beautiful stamps! We have many available at the 7KIDS Store! I wanted to try the new technique of line less coloring with my Copic Markers! The jury is still out as to whether I like this technique. I definitely need more practice!
After coloring, I took a Versamarker and dotted it along the bottom of the image. I sprinkled various colors of embossing powder, and then heat set with my heat gun. This added some more depth to the bottom of the image. Lastly
I added some sequins, a pretty rose trim, and of course I had to sparkle to some of the flowers with a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen!

Hope you like my Spring Flower Garden

And don't forget!!!
starts tomorrow! You could win a $20 gift card to the 7Kids Store!

Thanks for stopping by!
