La-La Land Crafts and SugarPea Designs Sweetness!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It's Karen here to share a sweet birthday card with you. :o)

One of the many things I love about 7 Kids is their incredible variety! The most elegant of projects can come to life with products available, as well as the sweetest of cards for a child. In this case, I combined sweet La-La Land Crafts dies with adorable SugarPea Designs stamps to help celebrate a little kiddo's birthday. :o)
The precious bunnies are from SugarPea Designs' One Big Hoppy Family stamp set. After coloring them with Copics, I fussy-cut them out and stacked them for a fun little design. They and the balloons are popped up with foam tape for dimension.

The Heart Banner and Heart Border metal dies are from La-La Land Crafts. I love the stitched detailing amidst the whimsical designs! For an extra dose of sweetness, I added the heart cut-outs from the border to the intersections of the banner. The base, balloons, and gift are inked with varying Tim Holtz Distress Inks. For more texture, I used coordinating shades of twine for the balloon strings. :o) Wink of Stella Clear adds shimmer to the balloons, while Star Dust Stickles sparklify the pink parts of the bunny ears and feet.

The newest release from La-La Land is in the store now for preorder. There are incredible new stamps and dies. I am LOVING the Singing Luka! He ain't nothing but a hound dog!

Kraftin' Kimmie

Hello crafty friends! Just wanted to share a CAS card that I made with my fun
Feline Great stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie.

Isn't this little kitty cute laying there sleeping and dreaming about his favorite treat!
I stamped him on Tim Holtz watercolor paper with Black Archival Ink. I colored him with Distress Markers. I just love coloring images this way. I used water and a small paintbrush with the Distress Markers. The distress markers react to water just like watercolors!
I added some Orange Stickles to the fish. I adhered 3 black enamel dots to the lower right corner to add some balance to the design. Check out this darling stamp set at 7Kids College Store!

Don't forget to join our current Anything Goes Challenge!

You may win a gift certificate to our store!

Saturated Canary Ellie's Birthday!

Happy Monday everyone! It's Rosie here to share the details on the challenge card I made for the current "ANYTHING GOES" challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.

On this card, I used the super adorable Little Darlings Ellie's Birthday from Saturated Canary. She's one of my favorites!! I'm trying out some different coloring paper. This time I used Neenah Solar White Super Smooth Cardstock and stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Hair: E13, E25, E29
Pink: RV02, RV04, RV06

My dps are from Authentique FLOURISH 6x6 Paper Pad. I just recently purchased the gorgeous Wild Rose Studio Corner Flourish Specialty Die and had to use it on this card. It's bigger than I thought, but I LOVE it!! Then I added some Melissa Frances white pearls to the flower centers, which really made the die pop. The beautiful teal burlap flowers are also a new find in the 7 Kids College Fund Store. Both the teal and pink flowers are from Petaloo....fabulous I tell ya!! The oval behind my image was cut out using the Marianne Design Passe Partout Oval Die...LOVE it too!! All of my favorites are pretty much on this card!!

We hope to see you playing along with us over the next 2 weeks. Remember to be eligible for the gift certificate and the Top 3, you must use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store.

Thinking of You with NEW Wild Rose Studio and Petaloo!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It's Karen here to share my card for the new challenge that begins today at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! The theme is Anything Goes, so link up whatever your crafty heart desires! Be sure to use products (primarily the stamped image) carried by 7 Kids to be eligible to win a gift certificate to the store! :o)

For my card today, I used several new items and I honestly love every single one. :o)
My stamp is Bluebell and Butterfly, one of the new releases from Wild Rose Studio. Isn't it adorable? I've cut it out with a Spellbinders Labels 18 die and colored it with Copics. Tim Holtz Broken China Distress Ink was sponged to create my sky. (I use Tumbled Glass for brighter cards and Broken China for softer color palettes.) Star Dust Stickles covers the flowers, while Wink of Stella Glitter Brush was used for the bow and butterfly.
Did you know that Wild Rose Studio now offers metal dies? They are as whimsical and beautiful as their images and are excellent in quality. I used the new Blossom Burst metal die along the corner. My Wild Rose Studio patterned papers are also new, from their Peach Blossom collection.
The fun burlap items are new from Petaloo! They come in a variety of colors and a couple of different set options. For this card I used goodies from the Apricot Burlap Blossoms and Butterflies set. I just love the texture and color! :o)

The sweet daisies in the upper corner are from Memory Box Precious Daisies metal dies, which I've inked with Tim Holtz Scattered Straw. My encouraging sentiment is from SugarPea Designs Tweet Friend stamp set. (This set has such an adorable image and lovely, versatile sentiments!)

Tomorrow is time for another ANYTHING GOES challenge here at 7Kids! So pull out all of your crafty stuff and join us! There are prizes to be had!!!! As in gift certificates at the fabulous 7 Kids Store!!!
I needed to make another fun birthday card!

Her name is Senior-ita Magda from Stamping Bella.  I never had a grandma like this one, but I am sure it would have been lots of fun if I had! I stamped her with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink onto some Xpress-It Blending White cardstock. I then colored her with Copic markers. I added a little fran-tage with some Stampendous Chunky White embossing powder. Added a few flowers and red jewels from my stash and that completed the look I was going for! I am sure my friend will get a kick out of her card! (She is a bit of a priss, if you know what I mean!)

Guess Who Loves You?

Hello everyone!  It's Anita here today sharing a card using a stamp, a stencil, and my distress inks.

I used the Mesh Stencil by Memory Box and distress inks by Tim Holtz to color a piece of Neenah cardstock.  I chose to use pastel colors to make a "spring" card.  It was so much fun to create my own background paper.  I colored the sweet Guess Who Loves You? Pure Innocence Stamp with copics and colored pencils.  I paper-pieced her outfit, fussy cut her, and adhered her to my stenciled paper.  I used some Glossy Accents on her sunglasses and added a few embellishments.

Here are the supplies I used from the 7KCF Store:

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous day!

Hugs, Anita

A Bit of Stenciling and Stamping Fun!

Hello, everyone! It's Karen here with a new little project to share!

I recently have become interested in stencils and previously shared how excited I was that Memory Box came out with them this year! I have much bigger visions for this crafty technique, but today I have a simple tag to coordinate with a card I will soon be making. Another dabble! :o)
I love honey comb patterns, so this Memory Box Honey Comb Stencil was a must-have for me! I began by cutting out my tag with a delightful design from the NEW Wild Rose Studio Peach Blossom Paper Pad. (There are lovely patterns in that collection!) I chose a soft peach to coordinate with the warm summery tones I knew I'd be using.

After using washi tape to secure the stencil over the tag, I used my Ink Blending Tool to blend in warm shades of Tim Holtz Distress Inks: Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, and Spiced Marmalade. The primary portion of my nature scene is from my favorite nature silhouette stamp: Crafty Individuals Wild Flowers and Butterflies.

An angled view to show the beautiful clear shimmer I added to the stamping, courtesy of the amazing Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush:

Float My Boat by Lawn Fawn

Hello crafty people! It's Mackie here!
Hope you are having a Terrific Tuesday!
I wanted to share a card that I made for a guy friend who helped us out with some stuff here at my house this weekend. So...I wanted to keep it masculine and CAS.

This is my card:

I used the new adorable stamp set and matching dies by Lawn Fawn called Float My Boat.
The sails on the little boats were paper pieced with some pretty paper from the Beach Boardwalk (Carta Bella) 6 X 6 paper pad. All of the stamping was done with Versamark or VersamarkFine black ink, because I heat embossed everything. How do you like the little life saver? I punched holes with my Crop-A-Dile and threaded some twine thru them. Does it look like rope???
I think the card turned out really cute. I just hope not too cute for a grown man!

Thanks for stopping by!

Items I used for my card that are available at the fabulous 7Kids College Store are linked below!!!!

Ink: Versamark
