Girlfriends Giant Cake Set by Art Impressions

Hello! Hope you had fabulous Labor Day weekend!
I did, because I got to play in my craft room!
So, I wanted to share a fun, crazy, colorful birthday card that I created.
Are these colors bright enough???

This is the one of the Girlfriends  stamps called Giant Cake Set (Art Impressions).  Love it!
I stamped the girlfriends with Black Tuxedo Memento Ink onto X-Press It Bright White card stock, and colored them with Copic Markers. After coloring I added some Yellow Stickles (Ranger) to the candles and a Wink of Stella glitter pen to the icing on the cake.
I don't know about ya'll, but sometimes I color without a clue as to what I am going to do with the image. That is what happened this time! And of course, I couldn't find any DP that matched how I colored the girlfriends! So I had to improvise...and this is what I came up with!  I cut up some colorful straws and glued some pink twine in the tops to make candles. Finally, I "speckled" the sentiment with sequins to look like confetti! And there you go...a party!!!!

I think this will be fun birthday card to give to one of my friends!

This is what the card looks like closed.

It will fit perfectly into  an A2 size envelope.

Thanks for stopping by!
