Tattered Lace dies and Issue #6 are in the store now for preorder. They will be shipping in mid June!

Products from the previous preorder are on their way to me right now and shipping soon!

Carte Postale

Happy Friday everyone.  I'm here to share my latest card.  I don't know about you but I love to use seasonal papers for more than the particular season they were made for.  Graphic 45 paper collections go together so well, you probably wouldn't notice that the yellow paper came from the 12 Days of Christmas 8x8 Paper pad if I hadn't just told you.  Am I right?  The next time you are stumped for an idea, try looking through your stash of seasonal paper to see if something sparks your creativity.

I hope you all have a great weekend and Happy Card Making :)

Love You Slow Much

Good morning everyone.  It's Anita here today sharing a card using one of Sylvia Zet's images from Whimsy Stamps.

I used the sweet image Love You Slow Much, and colored it with colored pencils.  I used some beautiful Graphic 45 papers.  I added some punched greenery and flowers and then used a copic to color pearls for the centers of the flowers.  I added pearl dots around the image with a Viva Décor Pearl Pen.

Here are the 7KCF products:
Love You Slow Much by Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamps
Cream Pearl Pen from Viva Décor
Cream Pearls from Melissa Frances

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

Memory Box Preorder starts today!

New Summer 2014 dies from Memory Box are available today for preorder! These will be shipping in mid June.

Love Card Featuring Tattered Lace Dies!

Happy Wednesday, friends! It's Karen here with a new card to share with you. :o)

I have a new crafty love. When our amazing store owner started carrying Tattered Lace dies, I swooned. These dies are astoundingly beautiful and I love them even more after playing with them for the first time. :o)

My card features two gorgeous Tattered Lace sets: Lacy Daisy and Beloved Borders!
They cut my thinner red paper and my heavyweight white cardstock perfectly. :o) I love using border dies as frames, as it adds to their versatility and gives options for crafters without frame dies. (Like me!) So I cut out four of these gorgeous heart designs to make a sweet frame for my heartfelt greeting. Beloved Borders comes with four different border dies, each one truly lovely. My sappy heart couldn't resist using this one first. :o)

The lacy daisies are so whimsical, yet elegant. The coordinating leaves are beautiful! Shadow dies for the daisies are included, but I wanted to keep the base paper showing through for the utmost lacy appearance. :o) The set also comes with a stamen, but I opted to use scalloped pearls for their centers.
My patterned papers are from Authentique's Smitten collection, one of my favorites from the Valentine's releases. Love-inspired papers are appropriate all year long. :o)

A week remains in our current challenge, which is extra festive since it's our 100th! Play along with us at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog, where FOUR $25 gift certificates will be awarded in celebration! Have a blessed day! :o)

Whooo Hooo!

Hello everybody! Mackie here with another card!
I totally cased this card from Kristina Werner! LOVE her!!!!!
I followed her layout, but used different stamps and colors, etc.
I was real pleased with how it turned out!

The little owl peeking out is from a darling stamp set from Darcie's Heart & Home, called Big News Owl.  All of the stamps is this set are so cute!!!

I stamped the lines on the tag. I colored the owl with Distress markers. I fussy cut the little owl and placed him inside the hole in the tag. I embossed the brown panel with a Woodgrain embossing folder.
After all, owls are usually in trees!
Hope you like my little card!

Have a Happy Day with Wild Rose Studio (and 100th challenge)!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It's Karen here to share my card for a special challenge that begins today at the 7 Kids Challenge Blog! The theme is Anything Goes, so share with us whatever you fancy! Be sure to use products (primarily the stamped image) carried by 7 Kids to be eligible to win a gift certificate to the store! :o)

But this isn't just a regular challenge... it's the 100th!!! To celebrate this crafty milestone, our fabulous store owner is giving away FOUR $25 GIFT CERTIFICATES! One for the random winner and one for each of the Top 3 DT Picks! How amazing is that?! Come join the party!

This week I colored up an adorable Wild Rose Studio stamp: Bunny with Flowers!
Isn't he a little sweetheart? And I love how large the bouquet is. He fits perfectly in the largest die of the Spellbinders Standard Circles (Small) set. After coloring it with Copics, I added Star Dust to the purple flowers and Wink of Stella to the yellow. His tiny tail is covered in Polar White Flower Soft for extra fun. Per usual, I fussy-cut an extra copy of the stamp as a mask to sponge a sky backdrop. For this card I used Tim Holtz Broken China Distress Ink and a cloud template. My papers are lightly inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

This entire line is pure whimsy and always a delight to create with! :o)

Hop on over to check out the marvelous creations by my teamies at the Challenge Blog and play along with us! Your work inspires us! :o) Have a beautiful day, everyone!

This LaLa Land Filigree Corner die was perfect for the corners!
I cut these out with Grungeboard and then inked with Versamark, so I could do a little silver Fran-tage.

The background was made with my Ranger Blending Tool and Ranger Distress inks-Antique Linen, Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo.

La- La Land Fan

Happy Friday everyone. The card I'm sharing today was made with the stamp set called Kimono Marci with a fan from La-La Land.  I only used the fan and the arrigato stamp to create a back ground.  I also stamped it on a piece of canvas and a patterned piece of paper to use as a focal point.

If you're like me, you sometimes forget that you can use your stamps for making your own background paper which is great to add texture to your design and It makes it easier to match other elements in your card because you are customizing it to your needs. If you haven't tried it in a while I hope you will give it a shot.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend and Happy Card Making.

A Little Gray Hare

Good morning!  It's Anita here today to share a birthday card with you.

These adorable little rabbits are from the One Big Hoppy Family clear stamp set from SugarPea Designs.  I thought these rabbits, along with the funny sentiment, would make a perfect birthday card for those old enough to have some gray "hairs" themselves.  Of course, you could use an entirely different sentiment and these little hares would make a cute card for a child too!

Here are the 7KCF products:
One Big Hoppy Family clear stamp set from SugarPea Designs
Take Note 6x6 Paper Pad from Doodlebug
Inkssentials Glossy Accents from Ranger
Thank you so much for stopping by!
