Sending Happiness with Sylvia Zet's Mountain Lily

Happy Wednesday! It's Karen here to share a new card with you!

Using my Copics, I colored up this precious fairy from Sylvia Zet: Mountain Lily! Isn't she sweet? :o)
After a long stretch of cool-toned cards, I wanted to warm things up. I knew this cutie pie would be perfect for an encouragement card filled with warmth and whimsy. She is accented with Star Dust and her vest/poms are fluffed up with Polar White Flower Soft.

I placed the gorgeous Memory Box Butterfly Vine in her path, cutting it twice to include an offset shadow. I cut it a third time to set additional butterflies around the card, as Mountain Lily whimsically speaks nature's beauty to me. A die from Marianne Design's Anja's Vintage Ornaments 2 set serves to "hold" the layer in place. There are so many lovely dies at 7 Kids to choose from to be a focal point or a perfect accent. :o)
