Special Delivery from Anita

Happy Thursday and Happy Thanksgiving to those that celebrate this holiday!  It's Anita here today to share a Christmas card.

This adorable image is Christmas Bunny by Sylvia Zet.  I love this cute and whimsical little bunny with his gifts piled on his sled.  I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the image on Neenah cardstock, and colored it with my copics and colored pencils.  I used Liquid Applique on his tail to make it fluffy and I added some glitter and pearl dots for sparkle.

Contacting 7 KIDS

I'd say it's a love/hate relationship, except there is very little love. I am not a fan of the phone: talking or texting. I am even less of a fan of voicemail.

So, if you are trying to communicate with 7 KIDS, please e-mail me at This is slowly becoming the only way to contact me, even for my husband.

I'd like to say I have some real disability that keeps me from being able to communicate on the phone such as hearing loss, but it's really just mental illness! I am overstimulated by the amount of communication that occurs over the phone between my husband and four children because they group message everything. I feel like a get a million texts a day. Also, with two barely adult children and two teenagers, I seriously shudder every time I see their names come up on my phone. It's either a call telling me they've totaled the car or they are asking for money, and thus I have developed a profound aversion to my phone.

I am constantly on a computer. So, please e-mail me with any questions or concerns about orders. However, I do try to answer my phone when I am at work, so if you really need to talk to me, mornings are the best time to get a hold of me.

I apologize for any inconvenience, but I have to be me. And me is not a phone person.

Saturated Canary by Anita

Good morning everyone!  It's Anita here today sharing a card I made using a Saturated Canary stamp.
I stamped this image Little Lady Bug on Neenah Solar White Smooth Classic Crest cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  I colored her with colored pencils and used ProArt Paper Blending Stumps.  Rather than color her in a red/black combo which I have done previously, I thought I'd change things up a bit and use a bright yellow and black.  I suppose it makes her look more like a butterfly than a lady bug, doesn't it?  I cut the image out and matted it using Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities.

Tim Holtz Seasonal Silhouette Stamps

I just wanted to share a Christmas card.

I made this beautiful card with the Tim Holtz Season Silhouettes Stamp set. First I stamped the background paper with Old Paper Distressed Ink. I distressed the edges and then sewed it to another piece of designer paper. The holly leaves are also from this stamp set. They were stamped in Peeled Paint distress ink . I fussy cut the holly leaves and adhered them behind the poinsettias.
The poinsettias were cut with my Silhouette Portrait machine. I just LOVE that thing!!!!
I added some lace to the middle and green tulle behind the poinsettias on the lower right corner.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

The new next generation Spectrum Noir markers are in the store now!!! Crafter's Companion has also released a more economical Ultimate Pen Storage option in black.

Holiday Joy by Rosie!

Happy Monday everyone! It's Rosie here to share my latest card for 7 Kids College Fund. I'm in the Christmas spirit! It's my favorite holiday and my birthday is also in December so it's just full of joy and presents all around, haha!

For my card today I decided to showcase the Sizzix Tim Holtz HOLIDAY JOY Framelits Dies and Stamp Set along with the Spellbinders Poinsettia Die....two of my fave products for the Christmas Season!

To make the poinsettias, I cut them out, inked the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and then curled the edges of each petal around a bamboo skewer. Once I glued the petals together, I added pearls to the center.
Don't forget you still have a couple more days to enter our current "Anything Goes" challenge HERE!!

Have a great week!
