Snow Wonder We're Friends!

Happy Monday everyone! It's Rosie here to share more details on the card I made for the current Anything Goes challenge at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog. All our challenges throughout the rest of the year will be ANYTHING GOES! But we are alternating our "optional" TWIST between Markers and Vintage.

For the next two weeks the challenge is:

ANYTHING GOES!

Now remember the challenge is "Anything Goes" so we should see a lot of you participating.

For my challenge card, I used a new favorite of mine: Kraftin' Kimmie JUST CHILLIN' by Thais Narciso. I LOVE penguins and the ones in this set are just the cutest ever!

 Copics:
Black: C5, C7, Black
Orange: YR04, YR07, YR09
Red: R22, R24, R27, R29
Green: YG25, YG67
Liquid Applique on Hat

The sentiment is also from the JUST CHILLIN' Set. My decorative papers are from Echo Park 'TIS THE SEASON 6x6 paper pad. The black mat behind the penguin was cut using Spellbinders BEADED CIRCLES Nestabilities. The gorgeous Pewter Pearls are from Melissa Frances.
Here's a list of supplies from the 7 Kids Store:
This challenge ends on November 5th so I hope to see you all entering your cards at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog!
Have a great week!

Curiouser and Curiouser

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday! :)  I hope you are all having a fabulous week.  It's Wednesday so that means the new challenge is up over at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this week is anything goes with an optional twist to use alcohol markers.  Here's my card:

For my card today I just had to ink up this adorable image called Alice in Wonderland by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.  I inked the image up with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamped it onto Copic Xpress Blending Card.  I then colored my image with Copic Markers.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: RV000, R81, 85, R89
White: E41, E42, E43
Shoes: C3, C5, C9
Blue bow: B91, B93, B95, B99

As you can see, I went with nontraditional colors for my Alice :)  My cardstock is from SU and my DP is from DCWV.  I added some die cuts from Memory Box Dies and then added a bow and roses from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I always use Scor Tape to adhere my ribbons and flowers, it holds perfectly.  The sentiment comes with the image.  Here are a copule more pictures:

What do you think?  Well, that's it from me today.  Please make sure to stop by the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog and join in the challenge, you could win a gift certificate to the store! :)  Also make sure to stop by 7 Kids College Fund for all your crafting needs.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  Have a fabulous day! :)

Christmas in October

Happy Saturday,

Can you believe October is almost over? Yikes! So I decided to create a Christmas tag.

I colored her skin and hair with Copic Markers and then I paper pieced her outfit. To add some glam I gave her gold glitter tights and black glitter shoes. For the trim on her skirt and belt I used liquid snow with some fine white glitter. The paper I used was from graphic 45 and her skirt is a Christmas Memory box paper. I created the snowflakes first by stenciling a red floral print then it was layered with Magnolia Doo Hickey Big Cozy Snowflake and Memory box snowflake dies. A red pearl was added to each. I hope I have inspired you to create a Christmas project.

Thanks for stopping by! Karen

Win by doing good!!! Our annual fundraiser for Michelle's Love!

Customers who have been with me for a while are familiar with our annual charity drive. Since it started, we have been supporting a non-profit started by a friend of mine, Andy McCandless, in honor of her best friend Michelle Singleton who died of cancer leaving behind four children. When Andy lived in Phoenix, she started the organization called Singleton Moms. When she moved to Portland, Ore., she continued to spread the love by starting another organization there to serve her new city called Michelle's Love!!! Michelle's Love is a recognized 501c(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible. Michelle's Love is in its second year of operation and is already helping a number of single parents undergoing treatment for cancer with house cleaning, healthy meals and bill payment. You can be part of this amazing organization with your donation. Since this is a COMPLETELY VOLUNTEER organization, all the money you donate will go directly to these wonderful mothers who are caring for minor children on their own and dealing with diagnoses and treatments for cancer.

So, for the next three weeks, I am asking 7 KIDS customers to open their hearts and their pocketbooks with a small donation to this incredible organization. You can give as little as $5 or as much as your heart (or bank account) allows. Your donation is tax deductible and you will receive a receipt for you taxes!

To make donating fun and exciting, I am setting up donation thresholds and will add addition GIFT CERTIFICATE PRIZES as we meet these goals.

To start, I am offering five $20 gift certificates. In order to be eligible to win one, you need to make a donation of $5 or more to MICHELLE'S LOVE. You will receive one entry per $5 increment of donation. So, if you donate $20, you will have 4 entries in the drawing and you can win more than one gift certificate!!!

However, if customers are generous and donations increase, I will add more gift certificates!!! Here are the donation levels and prizes.

GOAL
ADDED PRIZE
$500
3 additional $20 gift certificates
$1000
$50 gift certificate
$1500+
$100 gift certificate

If we can raise over $1500 for this great charity, there will be over $300 in gift certificates available to win!

DONATE NOW to be entered to win!
(Donation button is at the bottom of the page.)

DON'T FORGET TO FORWARD ME A COPY OF YOUR
PAYPAL RECEIPT TO BE ENTERED TO WIN!!!

All winners will be announced on Monday, Nov. 11. Entries will be taken until midnight Arizona time on Nov. 10. Each $5 increment of donation = one entry. Donors can win more than one gift certificate.

Happy Holiday with Holiday Anya 3!

Happy Monday everyone! It's Rosie here to share my latest creation with you for 7 Kids College Fund. Before I get to my card, I just wanted to remind you that you still have a little time to enter our "Anything Goes" challenge on the 7 Kids Challenge Blog. Just be sure to use an image carried in the 7 Kids College Fund STORE to qualify for the gift certificate and top 3. :)

We are also having a Design Team Call HERE!! Be sure to link up so you can have a chance at joining our AWESOME Team! It's really a great bunch of crafty ladies and a very inspiring group!

For my card today I used a new The Greeting Farm stamp called Holiday Anya 3. She's stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copics.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E11
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Dress/Boots: R22, R24, R27, R29
Plaid Scarf/Tights: R24, R29, YG25, YG67
Hand Muff: Stardust Stickles

Here's a closeup of the poinsettia. After cutting the pieces, I distressed the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Then I rolled the leaves under for added dimension, and added 3 small pearls to the center.

I hope you enjoyed my card today! Have a great week!

Rosie :)

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone and Happy Sunday! :)

I have a fun card to share with you today.  The new challenge is up over at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.  For my card today, I just had to play with this adorable image.  She's called Starry Birthday by Tiddly Inks (Tiddly Inks Starry Birthday).  I inked her up with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamped her onto Copic Xpress Blending Card.  I of course colored her with my Copic Markers.  Here are the colors I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E21, E25, E29
Pinks: RV000, R81, R83, R85, R89
Blues: BV000, BV01, BV05, BV09
Shadow around image: W2, W4, Blender

As always, I used my Martha Stewart Score Board to score my card.  My cardstock is from SU.  My DP is from the Carta Bella Cool Summer paper pad.  I added a bow and a jewel for a finishing touch (I always use Scor Tape to adhere my bows, flowers, etc., it holds perfectly).  The sentiment is from an old clear set.  The swirls were made using a Memory Box die (Tab will be carrying these in the store soon).  Here are a few more pictures:

What do you think?  Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by and please make sure to stop by the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog to see the rest of the DT creations and to play along in the challenge.  Also make sure to stop by 7 Kids College Fund for all your crafting needs :)  Have a fabulous day!

A Gift from Heaven

Happy Saturday,

This weekend is the invasion of the Pumpkin Fest in Keene, NH. My husband and went to view them last night. There are just too many people there today. You can barely walk.

Today I have created this cute heart shaped baby card. I just love this sweet image from Magnolia. I used a heart and heart doily die. For the take I added ribbon and a charm. I colored my image with C00, C01, YR13, YR15, YR18, R81, R83, R85, R0000, R01, R02. I added the frantage to make my design look whimsical.

How about a closer look:

Joyful Noise Card by Kelly

Hello to you all!  I hope you are having a great day.
I have a special card to show you today, it was made for my son in the Military.  I really love this image by Mo Manning, "Joyful Noise."  I colored him in Distressed Inks and made a easel card out of him.  All the papers are distressed and inked with black and vintage photo.  I embossed the music notes and the background with Stampendous Aged Bronze Frantage.  I love this stuff!  If you would like more information on my card, please visit my blog.

Remember we have our Challenge going at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.  The Challenge is Anything Goes with a twist of Vintage.  If you use products found in our Store, you are eligible for the gift certificate drawing to use in the 7 Kids College Fund Store, we all love that!

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to check out the specials going on in the 7 Kids College Fund Store today!

PRELOVED ShinHan complete 168-marker set

When I started carrying ShinHan, I pulled a full set out for Esme to make charts. Now that we are clearancing out, this full set is in the preloved section for one lucky customer! These markers are BARELY USED*!!! This is an amazing deal.

ShinHan markers are so similar to Copic. If you are just starting out, this won't just jumpstart you, you will be SET! Retail on 168 Copics is over $1300, so ShinHan is an amazing deal even at full retail. This set is even less. WOW!!!

Please remember that there is only ONE SET. When it's gone, it's gone...

*This item is in the preloved section, not the ShinHan section of the store, so the current ShinHan code will not apply.
